Janis B. Bell, 91 of Galesburg, formerly of Woodhull, IL died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Seminary Manor. Cremation has been accorded and there are no services. Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial fund will be established and online condolences can be made at www.petersonwallinknox..com.

Janis was born November 22, 1924 in Galesburg, Illinois to Ralph and Clinna Beamer Wagher. She graduated from Knoxville High School. Janis married Robert Bell on December 8, 1963 in Woodhull. He died in 1982.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Woodhull and a 50 year member of P.E.O. She enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include one daughter, Laura (Greg) Baysinge of Carlyle, IL; three granddaughters, Amy (Josh) Culpepper, Lindsay Baysinger, and Heather Becich; three great granddaughters,
Devin, Reese, and Katelyn.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, brother Don, daughter Kim and great grandson, Mason.
