Bill W. Baugher, 80, of Aledo, IL died Saturday, September 17, 2016 in his home. Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Aledo. Private burial will be in the Aledo Cemetery at a later date. There is no visitation. He was born November 2, 1935 in Dunlap, Missouri to John and Kathryn Thomas Baugher. He graduated from Aledo High School in 1953. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Bill married Wanda L. Brown in 1954 and later married Sharon K. Epperly June 19, 1970 in Aledo, IL.

Bill began his career in plumbing and heating with Howard Adams in Aledo. He owned and operated his own business in Milan, IL and in Phoenix, Arizona for many years before returning to Aledo in 1988. He then owned and operated Happy Joe's with Brad Montgomery in Aledo for many years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Aledo, Plumbers and Pipefighters Local Union #25 in Rock Island, the Aledo Exchange Club and Happy Joes afternoon coffee club.

Bill enjoyed being with his family, attending his grandchildren's activities.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; three daughters, Barb (Doug) Kiddoo of Joy; Lori Smith of Aledo; Jodi Wind of Nampa, Idaho; two sons, Perry (Drue) Baugher and Devon Kadel, all of Aledo, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his mother, Kathryn Baugher of Aledo; one sister, Barb Finn of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Steve Baugher of Aledo; several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Don and Mike.
